More about Naomi…
Born in Milpitas, CA, Naomi trained in the Bay Area at San Francisco Ballet and San Jose Dance Theatre and spent summers at Boston Ballet and the Rock School in Philadelphia. After receiving her BFA in Ballet from the University of Utah while performing regionally throughout the state, she joined the National Tour of CATS as Cassandra. Other shows followed soon followed: the National Tours of ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, DOCTOR DOLITTLE, and SPAMALOT and the original Broadway casts and recordings of THE PRODUCERS and THE FROGS. She continued to work with Susan Stroman in the movie version of THE PRODUCERS the musical (Universal Pictures), playing her original stage roles on screen opposite Nathan Lane, Mathew Broderick and Uma Thurman. Over the years she has been featured in many national commercials (including Chase, Comcast, EBay, and Macy’s), print ads (including Huggies, Alianz, Nine West, CitiBank), regional theatre productions (favorites include Girl in a Yellow Dress in CONTACT and Mrs. Potiphar in JOSEPH…) and was a recurring dancer on NBC’s SMASH. She has also spent the last 5 Christmas seasons in New York as a Radio City Rockette, danced throughout the year with the Rockettes on many talk shows and of course the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, and was featured in the Christmas Show’s ad campaigns for 3 years. She is currently playing the role of Hunkak in the National Tour of CHICAGO.
